🧾 Description
The compatible modules with Profinet are:

Description : CM9681 Connection Module, Ethernet / Profinet, IP65 - (M12 connectors)
Model : CM9680 (N100)
Description : CM9680 Connection Module, Ethernet / Profinet - (RJ connector).
🛠️ Resolution Steps
The reader must be linked to the base.
The base must be set with interface “ETH-STD1”.
These settings can be configured using the Aladdin tool or by scanning the following configuration label:
Scan Unlink:
Then put physically the reader on the base and wait up beeps.Restore default:
This is to reset the reader AND the base.Interface Eth STD1:
Restore Default the CM968x:
This will reset the CM and back to default IP address : 192.168.187.31
After that, turn off the base and plug it back in.Now connect the base to your local network and open Aladdin.
In Aladdin tool, it should display as follow:
After that, you can change the Ip address and the Gateway by clicking on the CM icon and do “apply” to save the configuration and “close”:
Then, you should get as follow.
On this example, it concern a Powerscan Bluetooth:
PS: The reader will never be displayed. Only the CM and the base.
