This article explains how to configure the reader to run in keyboard emulation mode on a Windows PC so you can view data in text fields, Word, Excel, and other web applications, for example.
Supported for Quickscan, Gryphon, Powerscan, Heron and TD1100.

🛠️ Resolution Steps

Scan in following order:

 

  • Restore Custom Default

     

  • USB interface

     

  • Country mode
    Select the appropriate country setting based on the language of the computer to which the reader is connected - see in attachment (1D_country.pdf):

    - A) Start to scan the label “Enter/Exit configuration”

    - B) Then scan your country 

    - C) End by “Enter/Exit configuration”
