🧾 Description

As explined in others articles, Batch feature allows to store labels in the reader while disconnected from the base but the PowersScan 9600 family has new ways of handling saved data. Reader can store more than 2000 EAN13 barcodes without data format. If the codes have more digits, the storage capacity will obviously be lower, and vice versa.

🛠️ Resolution Steps

1. Automatic: The reader will store labels to RAM memory when goes out of range and is disconnected from the remote device.

2. Manual: The reader will always store labels to Flash memory and the user must manually send the stored labels to the remote device by using next a, b or c options:

a) Send batch and erase it from memory after sending:

b) Send batch and do not erase it from memory:

c) Erase batch without sending it:

IMPORTANT: When the reader is powered off, the labels read in batch mode will remain stored. Data retention is not guaranteed when the handheld is powered off by removing the battery.

Batch Mode = Disable (default)
