🧾 Description
Procedure to connect the PowerScan PBT9600 in SPP (Serial Port Profile) to Android devices by using Serial Bluetooth Terminal SW loaded in the Android device.
🛠️ Resolution Steps
Unlink (unlink the reader from a previous paired device)
Restore Default
Link to Host in SPP Mode
Reader will be visible for 5 minutes, please go to Bluetooth settings of your Android device to discover it:
Clik in the name of the reader to add it and then accept the application for linking it to the Android device as follow and thus add it to accepted devices:
Open Serial Bluetooth Terminal app and check that the reader is in Bluetooth Classic devices:
Click in the connection button to establish the connection and as soon as the reader appears as Connected, it will be possible to read:
