The following guide is on how to load configurations from a backup module or from a save configuration file.
🛠️ Resolution Steps
Open Genius then in Tools>Options…>Communications setup your communication settings (default IP is 192.168.3.100). Then connect to the scanner using Device>Get you should see a Parameters Explorer window pop up.
To get the saved data from the BM100 in your CBX open Genius and connect to the scanner then go to Device>External memory Backup and Restore. Click on the information in the backed up contents and the click restore. If there is no information in the backed up contents try to find a backup file and load it using the instructions below.
Connect to the device as above. Next go to File>Open and find your config file. Double click the file to open it.
Lastly click on Device > Send with Options… Make sure the Application and Environmental parameters and checked and that you are sending to the Permanent – Non Volatile Memory. Click OK.
