🧾 Description
When it is necessary to copy the configuration of an old handheld device to be copied into a new one.
🛠️ Resolution Steps
1. If current interface of the old device from which the configuration will be copied is not RS-232 or USB-COM, Force Device Connection option in the Tools/Setting menu must be used:
2. When next browser appears, please read the barcode or follow th instruction on it. Port Connection box will change to USB-HID, then click in Connect Device to access to the current device configuration to be copied:
3. When inside the configuration, there are two options to copy it:
a) To Save Configuration in .xml file to be loaded in the new device by using DL Aladdin. In this case, if the new device is not RS-232 or USB-COM interfaces, Force Device Connection must be used to connect the new device to Aladdin and to load the configuration:
b) To Export Configuration in configuration codes to be read with the new device:
