🧾 Description
Character conversion is an useful parameter to convert character non printable like [GS], [SPACE], [ENTER], etc, into printable ones. This rule is apply to all codes read regardless of the family they belong to. Up to 4 characters can be converted, the first character in the pair is the character that will be converted, the second character in the pair is the character to convert to. If the character to convert in a pair is FF, then no conversion is done.
🛠️ Resolution Steps
Go to Data Format and click on the gray square to open the character browser to select your desired characters to convert:
Select the characters, in this example, we will convert [GS] into [#]:
After selecting and saving your desired character conversion, click on the three top lines to get the configuration in codes:
