By default, when address stamping is enabled the PowerScan M9600 uses a 12 hex digit address, for example, 0000002139AE<Message>
With the following setting it is possible to reduce the address size at 4 digit (in the range 0001 to 1999) in order to be compatible with old host working with this format.

2. Enabled 4-digt address
3. Select the 4 digit addres in the range 0001 to 1999:
A. Enter Programming Mode
B. Assign Unique Address
C. 4 couples of digits (in hex), for example, if radio address is 1234 = 31323334. When reading last number of the 4 couples, the reader will emit 2 BEEPs in a row:
