🧾 Description
This article describes how to upgrade the Matrix reader's software using either VisiSet. The attached document goes in to other options on firmware updating.
🛠️ Resolution Steps
Connect to the device via Visiset and Tools>Update Application SW. Select the appropriate .BIN file and start downloading. VisiSet automatically performs downloading of Application and FPGA program files;
Wait until the file(s) are transmitted to the reader and then transferred to the Flash memory
Select E. Run Application option and power off the reader or D. Delete Pars option to erase the parameters area.
Now the reader is ready to be powered again and connected through VisiSet.
