This guide is for focusing your Matrix devices using DL.Code
🛠️ Resolution Steps
To focus the Matrix place the desired barcode in front of the camera at the average reading distance of the barcodes you will be reading. Log in to the camera via DL.Code and click the Focus button on the right. If you are using multiple image settings click Manual Setup and use the guide below. If it looks good be sure to use File > Save On Device to save the settings into the camera memory or the calibration will be lost next time it reboots.
Manual Setup:
To calibrate the Matrix place the desired barcode in front of the camera at the average reading distance of the barcodes you will be reading. Then in Advanced Setup at the top click on the Image Settings on the left that has the barcode Symbology that you want to calibrate for. Then on the right there is a grey box labeled Image Auto Setup. Click it and a new window will appear set it to static and then click Start to calibrate for the box in front of the camera. If it looks good be sure to use File > Save On Device to save the settings into the camera memory or the calibration will be lost next time it reboots.
