To create the special Datamatrix barcode for master linking, you need to create a ‘reader programming format’ Datamatrix barcode with the value: LnkHid + the 12 digits of the Bluetooth address. Example: LnkHid2C1F2346D28E

Set exactly the below options and contents. Do not forget to change the 12 digits of the Bluetooth address with your settings. Then generate the barcode
When you scan this special barcode, the Rida will connect to the iOS device. Please confirm the pairing. Note that iOS request to have the Bluetooth screen open before you scan the barcode.
RIDA DBT6400 & iOS tips
When you have a Bluetooth Rida scanner connected to your iPad, the virtual keyboard will cease to appear. However if you need that virtual keyboard, just press the ‘back’ key on the Rida to popup the virtual iOS keyboard. Pressing the ‘back’ key again on the Rida will make the virtual keyboard to disappear again.
The Rida can be used in ‘Batch’ mode. When working in batch mode, the Rida will store all scans into it’s memory. Scanning the ‘Send Batch’ will activate the sending of the memory to the host (it will be removed from the memory).
