Pairing QuickScan QBT2500 as HID Slave to Windows10 PC

This configuration allows the QBT2500 barcode reader to be connected via Bluetooth directly to a PC running Windows10. No PIN code is required.
Make sure the reader is charged. Press the trigger to check if the reader turns on. The reader should emit a series of beeps.

Set the reader

Scan the codes in the order shown:

Unlink	1
2	Restore USA default Wait beeps

Add the reader

After reading the above codes, launch your Bluetooth utility on the tablet:



Do " Add a device ".

In the window that appears, click on the button:
"Add a Bluetooth device or another device":



Then click on "Bluetooth" as follows:


Wait for the device to appear, and select it:


Wait for rising beeps


Wait until Windows has finished the installation and press "OK" : 

Click« OK »

Scan the code below to configure the reader in French:



Open a "notepad" and scan your barcode. It should appear as follows.
