Configuring the Drop-Down Menu on Memor and Joya Touch A6 Devices

This article explains how to customize the drop-down quick settings menu on Datalogic Memor A6 and Joya Touch A6 Android devices. This menu provides fast access to commonly used settings and can be tailored to suit operational needs.

 

 

 

1. Access the Drop-Down Menu

• Slide your finger down from the top of the screen to reveal the quick settings menu.

2. Enter Edit Mode

• On the right side, tap the settings (gear) icon.
• On the left side, tap and hold the pencil icon to enter Edit mode.

3. Customize the Menu

You will see two sections:

• Top section: Icons currently shown in the drop-down menu.
• Bottom section: Available icons that can be added.

To remove an icon:

• Tap and hold the icon in the top section.
• Drag it to the bottom section.

To add an icon:

• Tap and hold an icon from the bottom section.
• Drag it to the top section.

To rearrange icons:

• Tap and hold any icon in the top section and move it to your preferred position.

4. Exit Edit Mode

• Tap the back arrow or exit icon to save changes and return to the drop-down menu.

Expected Result

• The drop-down menu will now reflect your customized layout, showing only the icons you need in the order you prefer.
