Often there is a scanning result issue with scanners used by French and French-speaking people because of the nature of their computer keyboard. Differently from other keyboards, the French keyboard AZERTY is very peculiar because it is one of the few that needs the Cap Lock button to be pressed to have the upper numbers.
Thus, when a customer set up a scanner, the default keyboard is often QWERTY and this is clearly recognizable because when the customer scans a code with numbers, instead of getting numbers as a result, they receive special characters like: éà’èù etc.

🛠️ Resolution Steps
Sometimes customers try to resolve this issue by enabling the Cap Lock on the scanner or by pressing the Cap Lock on the keyboard. Although this may work for numbers and the scanning result will be correct, the issue will be present as soon as a code containing letters will be scanned.
For this reason, it is advised to apply next direct configuration coder. This is a basic country mode configuration, and the issue will be solved immediately.
