Step guide to connect Bluetooth devices in HID profile
🛠️ Resolution Steps
1. This configuration allows you to connect the Bluetooth Quickscan barcode readers via Bluetooth directly to a PC running Windows10 (1903) using the default FIXED PIN code 1234. Make sure that the reader is well charged. Press the trigger to check if the reader turns on. The reader should emit a series of beeps. Scan the reader setup codes in the order shown:
2. After reading the above codes, launch your Bluetooth utility on the PC and click on “Add a Bluetooth Device” as illustrated below:
3. In the window after, click on the button "Add a Bluetooth device or another device" button +
4. Then click on "Bluetooth" as follows:
5. Wait for the device to appear, and select it:
6. Type the PIN code "1234" in the input field:
7. Wait until Windows has finished the installation and press "OK":
8. The following window should appear:
9. This indicates that the reader is ready. Scan the right country mode according to your PC language. Open a "notepad" and scan your barcode. It should appear as follows. Example:
