What Is the Apply Toggle?
- The Apply Toggle appears when a DXU profile is selected in Scan2Deploy. These profiles are files with the .dxu extension and are typically created using Datalogic DXU (Device Configuration Utility).
Functionality
When the Apply Toggle is enabled, Scan2Deploy will:
- Transfer the .dxu profile to the device.
- Attempt to apply the profile using DXU on the device.
If the device has DXU installed, the profile will be applied automatically.
If DXU is not present, the profile will be transferred but not applied.
Use Case
This feature is designed for customers who:
- Already use DXU for device configuration.
- Prefer to continue using DXU rather than migrating fully to Scan2Deploy.
