Connecting to a Matrix that has lost its IP address

🧾 Description
This guide is for Matrix devices that connect to DL.Code that are on their factory default IP address.

🛠️ Resolution Steps
Open a web browser and type in Datalogic.local/discovery
Your device may show up on the hosted web page. If so you can use the wrench icon  next to the device to change the IP if not try connecting directly with he below instructions.
If you know the IP that the Matrix is programmed to please set the IP port on your PC to the same subnet. The default IP is 192.168.3.100 we recommend using 192.168.3.99 on your PC to try to connect when the IP is defaulted. If you can not ping 192.168.3.100 when on the subnet and you do not know the IP you will need to default he scanner first (instructions below).

If it ever becomes necessary to restore the reader’s Environment parameters to their
default values (including the default IP address), you can perform this procedure by
holding the X-PRESS push button pressed while powering up the reader.
You must keep the X-PRESS push button pressed until all LEDs blink simultaneously,
then release and re-press the button immediately. The Matrix may emit a high
pitched beep and after a few seconds enters run mode.
Any previously saved configurations on the device may remain in memory, but the
Default configuration is set as the startup configuration.

NOTE
If you release the button while the LEDs are all on continuously (after
the blinking phase), the reader will enter the Loader program sequence
and the LEDs will begin to cycle through various patterns. Just cycle
power to return to run mode.
