🧾 Description
If your having issues reading barcodes at short and/or long distances at the same time you can use this guide to extend the read range of your Matrix. Please be aware this will lower the read speed of the Matrix.
🛠️ Resolution Steps
You can increase the read range in DL.Code by adding another Image Setting this will cause the camera to read each Image Setting in sequence when triggered so it will drop the read rate significantly (half read rate if they have one image setting).
To do this log in to your config and in the Advance Setup Click Add New Image Setup.
With the barcode at the new range click Image Auto Setup on the right
Set it to Static and click Start the Apply
Under your new Image Setting be sure to add the barcode type you are trying to scan as well as any filters you are using in Image Settings 1. (QR shown in image below)
If you are not getting reads you may be in Code Combination under Good Read setup.
