Steps to get data from PowerScan connected to Fieldbus FBC9080
🛠️ Resolution Steps
unplug the FBC9080 electrically
change the Rotary switch and put it in position 3 on the FBC
Connect the RS232 cable (CAB-433) to the RS232 connector of the FBC.
Check that the base BC9030 is powered by its own external power supply. The "AUX" light should be on.
Press the trigger on the Powerscan to wake it up if not already done.
Connect a Micro-usb cable to the FBC and connect it to the PC. Make sure our USB-COM drivers are installed. A USB COM should be installed.
Launch a tool to retrieve the read data, e.g. hyperterminal. Select the com port declared by Windows
Connect the FBC electrically. Scan codes via Hyperterminal. The data must be transmitted via the micro-usb cable.
At each code scan, the "RADIO" LED on the base should flash as well as the "Power" LED on the FBC.
