Some users may experience an issue where the Rhino II terminal restarts automatically after being powered off. This behavior can be corrected by adjusting the BIOS settings, specifically the Force Cold Reset option.
🛠️ Resolution Steps
1. Access BIOS Settings
- Connect a USB keyboard to the Rhino II.
- Power ON the device.
- When the Soredi Datalogic banner appears, press the ESC key.
2. Modify Power Settings
- In the BIOS menu, select SCU (System Configuration Utility).
- Navigate to the Power tab.
- Set Force Cold Reset to Disable.
3. Save and Exit
- Select Exit > Exit Saving Changes.
- Confirm by selecting Yes.
- The device will restart and boot into Windows.
