🧾 Description
This article provides programming barcodes to configure the Magellan 1500i and 900i to work with most Verifone POS registers
Note that this requires cable 8-0751-16 to work properly.
🛠️ Resolution Steps
Scan each barcode step in numbered order. Note that step 3 is a choice.

STEP 3 - For this step choose according to your setting on the register (if you don't know, try each one until one works)
Choose this one if your register is set to "2D Scanner"
Or...
Choose this one if your register is set to "Ruby Ready"
Scanner will reboot after scanning one of the programming codes in step 3
STEP 4 - Test a product by scanning it with the scanner to see if the product rings up on the register. If the Verifone makes a rejection double beep, try the others setting in step 3 after starting with steps 1 and 2. There may also be an unknown configuration setting that might be causing this to not work. In that case below is a Return to Factory settings barcode. Once you scan that barcode start again at step 1.
