This article explains how to update Scanners with Aladdin 3 via USB cable
🛠️ Resolution Steps
1. Open up the Aladdin software and click on firmware upgrade…
2. Next, click on Load Firmware file…
3. Click on Config Repository…
4. Then find the folder that applies to your device. In this example I am using a Gryphon GBT4500 wireless scanner Base station… *
5. Then you double click on the .dfw file.
6. Then click on the Firmware Upgrade with a USB Cable
7. Perform the same step as you would with force device connection. Remove USB cable from computer, Hold trigger or button down while you plug the USB cable back in and release trigger or button after 2 seconds.
8. Device will begin updating and you will see this.
9. When upgrading is finished it will ask you if you want to do another one. If yes it will return you to the window that has the Firmware Upgrade with a USB Cable button. If you select No it will close the firmware update window.
