🧾 Description
This is a quick guide on how to setup a master/slave configuration for the older Matrix X00/X10 series scanners that use Genius.
🛠️ Resolution Steps
Programming Slaves in Genius
Connect the slave programming cable to the new slave device
Open Genius
Click Device>Get
Click Device > Local Device Network Settings
Select Synchronized (for systems that are all on one tunnel) or Multidata (for systems on separate tachs)
Select a slave address
Click Device > send with options
Check environmental parameters and System parameters > OK (do this for all config uploads)
Notes:
If no slave programming cable:
Disconnect the master from the CBX and use that cable to program the slave.
If they have a SCX000 then that is the master.
Slave 1 is connected to the master, slave 2 is connected to slave 1 ect…
