Updating firmware on the Memor 10
1.1 Firmware download
Register on Datalogic Developer website, create Your own LOGIN
URL: http://developer.datalogic.com/
Select PRODUCTS tile
Select Your Device from the list:
Select Firmware tile:
Search for the latest version of the firmware (there is also ReleaseNotes document available)
Firmware Download functionality is protected and available for devices with active Datalogic SHIELD service contract only. You’ll be asked to insert Serial Number
1.2 Notification about new firmware version
To get mail notification about a new firmware available, edit Your profile and select NOTIFICATION
CREATE NEW ALERT and Save it
With the rule above You’ll be informed about new firmwares for Memor 10, You can define own rule or multiple rules.
2 FIRMWARE UPGRADE
2.1 DXU – Establish connection
Run DXU (Datalogic X Platform Configuration Utility), version 1.11.192.0 minimum
2.1.1 USB connection
Connect Your device to USB port using USB-C cable.
Run settings on the device and select SYSTEM
Scroll down to ABOUT PHONE and scroll to Build number
Click on Build number multiple times, fast, until You will see a message
Go back to previous card (System), select DEVELOPER OPTIONS and ENABLE USB DEBUGGING
Disconnect USB cable and connect it again, terminal will ask You to confirm new debug connection, click ALLOW
Now, device will be found by DXU
Continue procedure described in point 2.2 DXU – Firmware upgrade
2.1.2 DXU - WLAN connection
Type Your device IP address:
Find Your device tile
Continue procedure described in point 2.2 DXU – Firmware upgrade
2.2 DXU – Firmware upgrade
When Your connection is established (over USB or WLAN) and You see device on the list, You can start upgrade procedure.
Select DEVICE tile
Select FIRMWARE UTILITY
Browse the firmware file (ZIP file, don’t unzip it!)
Start UPDATE
Firmware upgrade process takes about 12 – 13 minutes in total
File load over USB interface - 7 minutes
Upgrade - 5 - 6 minutes
