BC9180 Ethernet Configuration

1. Unlink. Once read this code insert the scanner turned on in the cradle for 30 sec. (not necessary if already linked)

2. Hard reset. Wait 20/30 seconds after reading the code.

3. Select Ethernet Standard Interface.

4. Select Ethernet Standard Mode.

5. Enable DHCP, dynamic IP address.

• Important!

Be sure to have connected the Ethernet Cable via the proper cable to a socket ethernet, which IPv4 setting has been set in automatic IP address Remember to power up the base with the external power supplier at 12Vdc. Wait for the ETH green led to become solid

• Plug the Ethernet cable to a ethernet socket of a PC with IP address set to DHCP. The led ETH of the base comes green solid in few seconds.

• Open Aladdin software and click Device Autodetection à Search For One Device

• Access the device configuration for changing the Ethernet parameters by clicking the icon of the scanner or record the IP address and insert the IP in the search bar of the browser.
