This barcode programming is for Magellan scanner/scale models from the Magellan 8100 to the 9900i. The need for this programming usually arises when the scanner has the remote display enabled but there is no remote display. This will cause an error 8 in laser based models and scrolling error =8-9 in the imager based models.
