Datalogic Android devices support field-upgradeable firmware, allowing users to update their devices with the latest enhancements and fixes. This article outlines the steps to retrieve and install the latest firmware image using the Datalogic Developer website.
Note: Firmware downloads are restricted to devices with an active Datalogic SHIELD service contract. You will need your device’s Serial Number to verify eligibility.

Access the Datalogic Developer Website
- Open a web browser on your PC.
- Navigate to: https://developer.datalogic.com/mobile-computers
Register for an Account
- Create a login by registering on the site.
- Log in with your newly created credentials.
Locate Your Device
- Click on the Products menu.
- Select your specific Datalogic Android device from the list.
Find the Firmware
- Click on the Firmware section.
- Search for the latest available firmware version for your device.
Verify SHIELD Contract
- When prompted, enter your device’s Serial Number.
- If the device is covered under an active Datalogic SHIELD contract, the firmware download will begin automatically.
