This article explains how to retrieve the configuration from a Datalogic X3 device using the Datalogic Configuration Utility (DCU). This is useful for backing up device settings or replicating configurations across multiple units.

Device: Datalogic X3 Series
Operating System: Windows CE
Tool: Datalogic Configuration Utility (DCU)
Connection Type: USB with ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC)
Prerequisites
DCU installed on the host PC.
ActiveSync or WMDC connection established between the host PC and the Datalogic device.
🛠️ Resolution Steps
Launch DCU
On the host PC, open the Datalogic Configuration Utility (DCU).
Import Device Configuration
In DCU, select the option to import configuration from the connected device.
