The aim of the document is to present all the possible alternatives of a green blinking scanner. As per software definition a scanner in this kind of state is powered up but not communicating with the host. This definition leaves space to different technical explanations due to the involved variables. In order to consider all of them, the document presents a resuming flow chart for the usage of technical support and expert partners, who encounter this situation and need to provide the correct steps of assistance to the customer.
The flow chart considers mostly of the devices and typology of models, resulting extended and articulated but with a prospective that goes from general to specific.

The flow chart can be extended to all the MUSEO scanner.
If the Host is turned off and the power supply of the device is still on, the scanner blinks green, this situation is not considered in the flow chart, since easily recognisable. The user can visualize this while turning off a PC, the OS shuts down and the scanner starts blinking green since the USB is still powered but the communication is interrupted.
